could someone please look at the image below for Mary Henderson's birthplace. (1871 census, transcription says fair isles) Source information: RG10/1009 Registration district: Dover Sub-registration district: St Mary ED, institution, or vessel: 1 Folio: 6 Page: 6 (click to see others on page) Household schedule number: 26 GSU Number: 827260 Looking at the image it seems to say different. Hi Joan I think that it's Fair Oak, Bishopstoke Hants - which is a parish in the Winchester reg. district. Richard |
