hi i,m looking for a death, thomas j.p. fox after 1940 and before 1950, think he might have been killed in the war, so tried above site, but nothing, is that site complete do you know or is there anywhere else i could look, not really my family but a point of interest many thanks marcie x

I'm guessing you meant www(.)cwgc.org - its the official site of the Commonwealth war graves commission and as such has 'The 'Debt of Honour Register' - the Commission's database listing the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died during the two world wars and the 23,000 cemeteries, memorials and other locations world-wide where they are commemorated. The register can also be searched for details of the 67,000 Commonwealth civilians who died as a result of enemy action in the Second World War.' So pretty complete yes.

There are some people missing, certainly. Have you looked in the normal death index, or in the overseas section?
