Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 969 Send Message	Hi, is there a way to search for children born post 1901? We know my grandad had some and know their names but as they are popular names i would be looking all year and spending a fortune in the process!

	There is no easy way unfortunately. You will have to search the GRO indexes for them, you can do this for free at a records office or similar, online it would cost a fortune. If they were born after 1911 it is slightly easier as the mother's maiden name is given so it helps narrow down whether it is the right one or not. Sam x

Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 3 470 Send Message	Are you in touch with any family members? Do you or they have any photos? A family photo might put everyone in the right order. Alternatively, if you knew any married names, you might be able to find marriages, or use directories to find people in a neighbourhood if you have any addresses.
