Happens to me all the time, however if you untick the 'do not allow attachments etc'remember to retick it after you have retrieved your document, it is a security measure to help avoid virus's. After you have ticked or unticked remember to hit 'apply' then OK. Regards Christina

Hi Elaine I'm no Boffin but i had same trouble. Get Outlook on screen, at top of page click TOOLS then OPTIONS then SECURITY. Untick DO NOT ALLOW ATTACHMENTS. It should then be OK. This is the limit of my knowledge!!!

Have been sent attachment containing research info, including PAF file from LDS, from a newly- found rellie in Sydney but Outlook Express is blocking it. How can I unblock it please? Have been on Microsoft Office online website but no use-can't understand it! Please help, all you computer boffins!!!!! Ta very much Elaine
