PAF Does it export gedcom ?

Hi I have put all my work back into PAF and I am not sure if it will export Ged file so I can save it somewhere else as well. Any help would be much appreciate Thanks Zoe |

Zoe: Yes, you can export your work from PAF: 1. Open your PAF program. 2. At the top of your screen, click on FILE. 3. From the drop down box click on EXPORT. 4. A screen will appear titled EXPORT and a list of items....PAF 5 is probably already checked off here so just click on EXPORT at the bottom. 5. Another screen will appear that will allow you to choose where on your PC you wish to save the .ged file to. At the bottom of this screen you can name the file and then click on EXPORT. You should now have a .ged formatted file of your tree on your PC in the location you chose in step 5. Judy |

Hi When exporting or saving the tree as a GEDCOM file don't forget to save any multimedia files from the tree in a seperate folder. Gedcom doesn't save these, so when you have imported Gedcom into another family tree program you will then have to import the saved media files into the same folder as the original, for example ' My Documents'. |
