“How come, sez I, that since starting this family history lark I’ve turned into a midwife for Lever Arch Binders who spawn smaller four-ring binders and they in turn spawn small 2 ring Binders. These smaller binders produce manila folders who in their turn produce plastic A4 envelopes with press-stud fastenings. Wait for it – now I have delivered hundreds of plastic sleeves from the envelopes. Not to mention the scribble pads, post-its – but I can’t go on for I am exhausted. I would never have taken up Family History Research if I had known that I would have to give so much house-room to such a disparate and every increasing ‘family’ |

Nice to know I am not alone. My shelves resemble the public library folders of various colours and sizes and plastic wallets in boxes. Great isn't it ??? Susan |
