Hello you lot. Me again. Can someone with Ancestry access have a look at an 1861 census page for me? Search for William Shirley born abt. 1812 in Leicestershire. He's at the bottom. Can you make out what his occupation is? Thanks, Sharon

I've got to say though, it doesn't look like Leicestershire to me. There doesn't seem to be enough letters

I thought carman cartman or cowman! Can't find him on familysearch to see what they'd transcribed it as! Debby

Yes, its a carman. The birth place looks like Leicestershire, Quandon.
