Im looking for my nans if she had one. she was born in a workhouse with no father listed and im struggling to find any info on her mother. My nan was sent to Kent to live with an aunt when she was born so 'if' she was baptised it would either be in Middlesex or Kent in 1916/7. |

Baptisms are in parish registers which are in the relevant county records office. Some transcripts are on www.familysearch.org (free) and Family History Online (fee to pay). Kew has some non-conformist registers and I think Roman Catholic registers are with the church. nell |
