There is no more on the disc's Heather -they are just the census pages and you have to pay extra for the index. Shame we cannot copy the disc's and send them to each other. We would all save a lot of money. Irene

But you could buy a whole year on ancestry for that couldnt you with the 1861 -1901 census plus other stuff. Am I missing something - is there more on the cds?

Seems expensive but then I don't know how much you would use it. That sort of money would get me to London and have a super day researching at FRC... AND still have lots left to buy certificates.

I have the London 1901 census in a boxed set. It is good, my husband bought it as a pressie. Trouble is some of the disc's I have never looked at because I have no relies there. Depends on how many look ups you have. 1901 is on the net(pay to view) and 1901 is on ancestry where you can ask for look ups on this site. Do you have many look ups to do?. Irene

Please would some one tell me::: 'The London 1901 census on cd-rom' is it worth the money at £59?? To Buy or not To buy??? Many thanks Helen. thanks for all your answers This will save my husband some money??
