looks like there's a temporary problem with that part of the website. It's okay normally. Stuff that's not there now has been seen in the past, so it's not fundamental

Pallot's Marriage Index 1780-1837 is available on CD for £44.95 from http://www(.)twrcomputing(.)freeserve(.)co(.)uk/software(.)htm Remove brackets. This contains the index only with a clickable link to the USA ancestry image. Not sure how much information there is in the index.

I tried to use Pallott's Index on Ancestry yesterday. It came up with a list of names, but no dates or parishes and the images were missing. I was told that the slips from which it is composed were flimsy, fragile and often with bleed through from the other side. Does anyone know if the CD has more satisfactory information?
