My grandfather was in the Home Guard in Gosport during the Second World War. Any ideas on how to research him?

Googled Home Guard WW2 Gosport and quite a lot of sites came up. Looks like there are some documents held at Hampshire records office. Look at http://www(.)hants(.)gov(.)uk/records-office/ww2.html Good Luck Irene

For his own personal records you'll probably be redirected to Kew. Regards Keith
