The local records office - and if its Middlesex, it might be the London Metropolitan Archives - will probably have the admissions/dismissals register, but there might not be an index. I am speaking as one who spent most of Saturday wading through 2 years' worth! nell |

The records may be available at the local records office. You may be able to find out if they hold records by doing a search for the name of the place on the local records office site or give them a ring and see what they hold. Good luck alice |

I have managed to google the birth address of my nan and it was a workhouse infirmary in Middlesex. How do i go about trying to get the info about my g'nan when she was 'placed' there? |
