If you know which prison, you can get details from the prison register (usually in the county records office, but if more recent you need to get Home Office permission to see). If you have an idea of the time you can see if its mentioned in the local newspaper, but again you need to have an idea of whereabouts. nell |

Does anyone know how to trace someones criminal record. I have been told my father was in prison in the early 50's. It can't have been too bad as it was only for a year or so. I never knew anything about this and noone wants to talk about it. |
