IF THER IS SOMEONE OUT THER WHO CAN ADVISE ME LIKE THE 'DUMMIES GUIDE' TO POSTING AND NUDGING AND THREADING AND WHATEVER ELSE I NEED TO KNOW I WOULD BE REALLY GRATEFUL THANKS LINDA

There's a thread called tips for newbies which might help you out. I'll try and find it and nudge it up for you. Also on the Records Office Board another good thread called 'ESSENTIAL READING, BEFORE FIRST POSTINGS' which tells you how to nudge, etc. Good Luck Anna

If you get stuck Linda, just ask. Don't feel stupid. Everyone is the same to begin with, its a bit confusing at first. Folks on here are very helpful. Ann :)

Well, you have managed to start what is called 'a thread' all on your own. If you click on the 'add a reply' above you can 'talk' to us too! a 'Nudge' is adding a reply. Adding a reply to a thread brings the 'thread back to top spot on the board. an 'anon nudge' or 'phantom nudge' is where someone adds a reply, for the purpose of sending a thread back to the top of the board and then deletes the reply imediately. The 'up date/delete' options give you a chance to either add more to what you already put , or to delete it jess x * have a go- add a reply to this thread, then go back and up date it, add something or take something away
