I am trying to find the parents of my great grandmother, but forst i want to confirm that she is my great grandmother. I would like to buy a marriage cert for my greatgrandparents, but cannot find them on Free BMD. Am I being stupid or can anyone else help me find them anywhere? My great grandfather was Alfred Bagnal Silkstone born 1885 in Derby. His wife was apparently Olive May Cook. If anyone can help, i will be eternally grateful xx

It's because the marriage was after the date FreeBMD virtually stops... Silkstone Alfred B Spouse surname Cook, District Kingston. Vol 2a Page 1256 Marriage Q3 1915 This was from Family Relatives - good for lookups 1866-1920 when they are not on the free site and where the name is uncommon. Sarah
