mason of dock

Is there a place called Dock?? I have things similar to this, such as 'bricklayer of Barton' on a marriage entry. I presumed it meant the groom came from Barton which was not the parish where the marriage took place. (the bride living in a neibouring parish) Anne

Have no idea just looked it up on old ocupations. Theres masons :Stoneworker,so maybe he was in charge of maintaing the docks walls Angie x

I have an ancestor who was a 'Mason of Dock' around 1807. Any ideas??
