info on birth certs?

Thanks for that, they were both born in or around london. my grandad in 1901 and my nan in 1916. the only reason i ask is that we have no clues about my great grandparents other than my nans mums name, so as much info as possible would definately be great. |

Birth cert info will be date and place of birth (maybe time if a twin) name of infant father's name and occupation mother's name (incl. maiden name) informant's name and address & poss. occupation nell |

Which country? England and Wales give father's name and occupation, mother's name and previous surnames, and the place of birth and name and residence of informant (usually one of the parents). Addresses might be anything from a village to exact house numbers and streets. Scottish birth certificates generally provide more info, including date of the parents' marriage. |

Hi what kind of info can i expect to see on my grandparents birth certificates? will it state address and info on parents (other than name)? |
