Very sorry to hear your mother died it must be awful for you,My cousins partner commited suicide three years ago and two of my sons have made serious attempts at it ,it is a very hard subject for some people to talk about or except. My eldest was at school doing A levels and took 5 packets of tablets and a whole bottle of vodka in the sixth formers room.He was actually seen by someone doing this but they didnt say anything until he collapsed a few hours later and stopped breathing. Basildon & District Crematorium 01268 584411 Church Rd Bowers Gifford Basildon Essex SS13 2HG Pitsea Cemetery 01268 552132 Church Rd Pitsea Basildon Essex SS13 2HG These are the nearest cemetery and crematorium ,I found a relative by going to the cemetry I thought they may be in and the lady in the office was very kind and as I knew the date of death in the 1940s she looked on her files and found the plot and walked us over to it. If you telephone these and explain briefly your situation and that you wish to locate your mothers grave and if she is there could they perhaps tell you who dealt with the funeral ,they may have some info ,you never know until you ask Deborah |

Hi Laura Looked at the Basildon council site and they have info about coroners. If you contact them and ask them if they have the coroners contact details or can tell you how you can find out more about your mother as she died in their area. The Basildon Centre, St Martins Square, Basildon, Essex, SS14 1DL (01268) 533333 My cousins partner was a lovely man and my son is not the same anymore ,he self harms (another taboo subject) and I worry all the time he will try again ,my other son was 15 and hung himself from his bunkbed ,luckily my oldest and I unhooked him, very traumatic for the whole family as you live on edge all the time. Hope you get some info on Monday Deborah |

Hi Try www(.)hmcourts-service(.)gov(.)uk/cms/1226(.)htm for information on wills and probate. You can have a postal search done for probate at: The Postal Searches & Copies Dept. York Probate Sub - Registry 1st Floor Castle Chambers Clifford St. York Y01 9RG I think it costs £5.00 Also have you tried the local libary for copies of the local paper. There's a newspaper libary too (I think it's called Colindale) in London; I'll try and find the adress. Heather |
