Hi. I am looking for details of Walter Richards - age 32- born Rotherhithe - living Rotherhithe - .....maker, He may have a wife Elizabeth with him. She would be of similar age. Details obtained from online 1901 census. I couldn't ref. to Elizabeth If he can be tracked down and an image of census sheet forwarded to me I would be most grateful. Rita |

Hi Rita That Walter Richards has a wife Agnes and children, Bertie, George, Willie and Robert. Living at 29 Princes St, Rotherhithe. Is that the one you're after? If it is send me you email add and I'll forward it to you. He seems to be the only one born and living in Rotherhithe. Sylvia |

Rita, have found a Walter Richards (born Rotherhide about 1869) on 1901 for you but there is no mention of an Elizabeth as wife. Wife is called Agnes. If you think it's the same Walter, let me have your email address. Brenda |

Hi everyone - Thanks for speedy response. Albeit that Walter had a wife Elizabeth and son Walter (born 1891) on the 1891 census, I have asked Sylvia to send me an image and have sent her my email addy. Walter junior died in 1896 aged 4. His death cert. has been ordered. I am now wondering what happened to Walter Sen. and wife Elizabeth if they are not on the 1901. Much obliged to you all. Rita |
