Hi Julie There doesn't seem to be a limit to the number of names - it thinks mine has 10022 I have found the best way is to download it from PAF 5 in ANSEL format - seems to go in easier. I sometimes get the time out message but it still seems to load - but with a big file it doesn't appear instantly. Keep trying and best of luck Peter

Well, I downloaded the programme, imported my Gedcom to it, so far, so good. Then exported the Gedcom again having put it through the programme so to speak. Still OK. Tried to upload it to GR, not having it. Won't work. Anyone fancy having a go for me?? PS/ is there a limit to how many names you can have??

Hi Look Under 'Family History' title then click on 'sofware downloads free'. Think its the first one on the list. Vikki xx

Hi Julie I dont know if I can help you but I use PAF 5 for my Family tree (apart form the GR one) Its free to use and from: www.ldscatalog(.)com Look for the link to the downloads, its easy to do. You can then try importing/exporting your files thru that. It is probably just a GR fault as they have many and varied faults every now and then. Anyway, Thats how I did my tree. Vikki xx

I deleted my tree so that I could send a new Gedcom to GR. I keep getting errors, also it times out. I created the Gedcom from Brother's Keeper. Is there anyone out there who fanices having a go at this for me??? I was wondering if there is anyway of uploading the Gedcom to another program and then exporting it again (if that makes sense), to see if it wipes the errors out. I tried making a sample site on Tribal pages to see if I could upload the Gedcom and it worked fine, no errors. Message me if you want to have a go at helping me please.
