Hi Nell, thanks for reply, found him on census, he is there with his mother. I don't know if there is a name index for Islington 1851 census. could put a request on boards. Thanks. Hilary.

Hi Victor, thanks for your reply. Says full age on marriage cert. in 1851 but says 23 yrs old when she died in 1855. Regards Hilary.

Hi Katarzyna, thanks for your reply. She was 23 when she died in 1855. So would have been born 1831/32 The only one on IGI is a Mary Ann Thurrell born in St Pancras, London but father is Jonus Thurrell. I do wonder if this is her. A trip to trawl the parish records not on as I live in France. I even got someone on here to look up the Lambeth address on 1851 census, hoping her family were there but it threw up a different name. Was Thurrell her married or maiden name and could you find her future husband on the 1851 census? Chances are she was in the same area as they married later that year, but she is possibly mistranscribed. nell

I am looking for the birth of my Gt. Gt. Grandmother. Her name was Mary Ann Thurrell. I only know 4 yrs of her life. In Sept 1851 she married my Gt. Gt. grandfather in Islington. In 1853 she had my Gt. grandfather in Lambeth. In 1855 she died. She died at the same address in Islington as she got married from. I have her marriage cert. & says her father is Joseph. She is not on 1851 census in Islington. Any ideas please. Regards, Hilary.
