One of my husband's great grandfather's was a wealthy silversmith living at 120 Highbury New Park Islington in 1881. I've just seen a 2005 planning application for the property. I wonder if you know it and could tell me what it looks like? Louise |

If no one gets back to you, then perhaps you can get hold of this? Tanis HINCHCLIFFE (1981), Highbury New Park: A Nineteenth-Century Middle-Class Suburb, in: The London Journal Vol 7, p29-44. If you google ''The London Journal'' there are lots of references to getting back issues. Sarah |
