St Philips Church, Birmingham, anyone know of?

I don't think St Philips was the Cathedral in 1848. Not sure when it did become it but think it was later than this. Anne

Thanks Nanna, whereabouts is it situated please? Also their residence at time of marriage is just down as Bordesley Place, so presume that would be somewhere near the church. Val

Have just had a marriage cert from 1848, which states the marriage took place in the Parish Church 0f St Philips Birmingham. I believe the Cathedral is called St Philips, but wouldn't it say Cathedral,? also a Catholic Church named St Philips, but don't think this would be referred to as a Parish Church. Anyone able to tell me anything about this chuch please? Val
