St Philips Church, Birmingham, anyone know of?

I don't think St Philips was the Cathedral in 1848. Not sure when it did become it but think it was later than this. Anne |

Thanks Nanna, whereabouts is it situated please? Also their residence at time of marriage is just down as Bordesley Place, so presume that would be somewhere near the church. Val |

Have just had a marriage cert from 1848, which states the marriage took place in the Parish Church 0f St Philips Birmingham. I believe the Cathedral is called St Philips, but wouldn't it say Cathedral,? also a Catholic Church named St Philips, but don't think this would be referred to as a Parish Church. Anyone able to tell me anything about this chuch please? Val |
