Coddrinton is just outside Bristol off the M4 near Yate. It has a very nice pub the Coddrington arms. It is only a couple of miles from the wiltshire border. |

According to multi-map, Codrington is in South Gloucestershire, quite close to Bristol. Kath. x |

Still thinking about my troublesome ancestor Eliza Mathews - no fathers name on her marriage cert. Was looking back at census records the other day and on one she gives her birthplace as Purton, Wiltshire and on another as Codrington. This is 1820-ish - anyone know what county it might have been in? Lisa |
