Can anyone with the discs tell me what coverage is like for Essex please? I'm starting to struggle with finding info now and wondered if it was worth asking for a few lookups. Thanks Maddie |

Hi Maddie If you give me a few names I'll have a look. I think the records are in batches from certain churches so it's hit and miss if you find anything. Heather |

Hi Heather Cheers, appreciated! I've got a bit of a puzzle really that I'm trying to solve. Ellen Rosa Tovell got married 4th Dec 1856 to Edward Tovell Graves. They have to be related or it's a bizarre coincidence. I'm just struggling a little trying to work out where the Graves family meets the Tovell's prior to their marriage. According to the 61 census, Edward was born 1816 in Barking. I asked for a baptism lookup but was told there are way too many churches in Barking to go through so I'm kinda bamboozled as to where to go next. I need to try and find his parents or a Graves/Tovell marriage somewhere in Essex around that time to give a start point. Maddie |

Hi Maddie Sorry, no luck I'm afraid. Most of the records for Tovell/Tovel/Tovil appear to be from Suffolk. Heather. |
