died at sea, no trace of burial

could anyone tell me how i could find burial records for someone who died at sea, one of my relations was as far as the information goes on a fishing boat off the coast of devon and died in 1923 at sea, his body was supposed to have been brought back to devon but i cant trace it. his name is rueben perring and he was 33, any info how to find him would be greatly appreciated

I've checked the deaths on 1837online for all quarters of 1922, 1923 and 1924 and there is no death recorded of a Reuben Perring. Kath. x

Only one similar death on national burial index 1st edition That was a Ruben Knowles Perring buried 26 May 1921 aged 32 in Lincs Deborah
