Lal, you posted a message about Joseph Abbott, but by the time I'd posted a reply you had taken it off again lol (OK, so I'm a bit slow!) Did you still need any help? - Happy Hunting -Sarah

Hi Lal!! here's what I remember lol I replied asking which marriage certs you had, as I wasn't quite sure from the original message. Also how did you know that Joseph Abbott was in Cork (ie did it say something on the daughter's marriage cert?) I also told you that place was in Brazil, coz I googled it lol - great minds think alike?? lol Lastly I asked if you had ever tried the Jamaican Family Search Genealogy Research Library? http://jamaicanfamilysearch(.)com/index.htm (remove brackets) It costs $4US to join for a week, which is under £3 and holds quite a lot of info (BMD's, wills, MI's land holdings, names of people in Civil Service etc etc etc.) I typed ''Joseph Abbott'' in the search box and there were quite a few entries, though I can't say if many (any??) are for him!! I joined the site for a week last year and found out quite a lot about a family on my tree. Good Luck Back later on..... Sarah
