'Ancestry Plus' as such is a service for libraries. You want to be on ancestry-dot-co.uk or maybe ancestry-dot-com. But beware, there isn't just one sub for the site. There are lots of different collections and packages, and sometimes different prices for the same deal. You probably want UK+Ireland, but people have said they can access this data from a US sub, which may or may not be cheaper (and if not advertised might run the risk of being discontinued). See http://landing.ancestry%2ecom/multisubs/subscribe.aspx?html=abmremove&SourceId=&TargetId= (which should be all on one line) |

Dean, ancestry plus is something only available to libraries and such. But ancestry(.)uk is the one most of us subscribe to. It costs about £70 for a year 24/7 usage and yes its brilliant. You get census from 1861-1901 plus lots more. If you are thinking of buying a family tree program, I believe that Family treemaker 2005 has a months trial included and so is worth the £29 (PC World or amazon). |
