I've just noticed that Mrs Warner is ten years older than Mrs Barker should be. Sarah

I've found the 1861 entry that Annabel is refering to. They are livingat Broxbourne which is near Ware. They are indexed as 'Warner' not Barker. The problem for me is that the original census sheet looks lihke Warner too?? I could accept it being a mistake by the enumerator, but they are still Warner in 1871..... Confused?? Yes lol Sarah

The only one I can find is Amy Barker 1855 Marylebone, mother Elizabeth 1829 and father William 1819. The only 1852 Amy Barker was born and living in Huddesfield.

I can't find them on the 1871 census, and I can't even find them in Ware on the 1861 census on Ancestry. Kath. x

Hello, I think I may have finally got somewhere - but I need help - would anyone be kind enough to do a look up for me on the 1871 census please - I am looking for Amy Barker, born 1852 in Newington Middlesex who was probably still living with her mother Elizabeth Barker, born 1837 in Middlesex and her brother Alfred E who was born 1853 also in Newington ! but maybe Alfred being 18 had moved out by now - I have found them all on the 1861 census living in Ware, in Herts - any help would be so much appreicated. Many thanks Annabel
