Hi Jess, All my Sandals originated from Lewes. I have spotted the Harry Sandalls, that you mention, but I'm sure he's not related. There are many families in Lewes with the surname variant of Sandals ie Sandalls, Sandles, Sandells lots and lots of them and I have gathered so much info on all of them one day I will piece them all together as it's such a rare name they must all be related somehow. My Harry (well I believe him to be mine, waiting on a call from a distant rellie to confirm) married in Islington to a Rose Maple.. I have three children connected to him so far. Thanks for your help Jess, it's about time Genes employed you full-time and paid you a decent wage I think!! I might have to suggest it!! thanks again, Carol |
