Its amazing how often the old 'plug out and back again' works not just for printers but puters, tv freeview - shame we cant patent the idea! I know when I first got a puter many years ago - I spent a whole day getting really upset about my printer not working. I rang up the shop, gave them a real rollicking then my friend said, your ink is empty. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! |

sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone who was kind enough to give me advice After spending about 4hrs the other night trying everything from checking input wires re arranging them just incase and the other 101 things i tried it only needed the plug taking out of the wall for a few minutes then plugged back in again wish id asked for advice before i did ONCE AGAIN MANY THANKS IM INDEBTED TO ALL OF YOU regards janice x |

Hi Janice, if you've got problems printing - have you tried printing a test page from your printer's console - Go to the Start menu - then Control Panel - Printers - Dialog box should show that includes your printer, right click on it and select properties. There should be a button that says 'Print Test Page' If it prints, try printing from word again and seeing what happens. If it doesn't print - check the cables and reboot pc (if not already done so) Apart from that, try phoning the support number for your printer manufacturer HTH Charlotte |

Hope someone can help you, but if all else fails, do a system restore and take it back to before you had this prob. |

last nigth i added about 65 new pic from my camera dock to computer- stored them in different albums and was feeling pleased with myself as its usually the kids that do if for me!! then when i went to print a photo nothing happened, i then tried to print from word nothing happened it just kept storing up the documents to be printed, i have tried emptying my recycle bin in case i have too much - but to no avail anybody got any suggestions- at one point i could type a document from sage program but after fiddling about can no longer do that HELP!!! many thanks janice |
