Cornhill is the name of a road in the city. It would come under the City of London vol. 1c Not sure why she would be baptised in Hammersmith or why her sisters would be born Camberwell. nell |

Sarah thank you that is my Rachel with the right mum and dad. I have tried everything to get information for her birth certificate. She may have had a sister born the same time called Helen or she changed her name to Helen. I keep finding possible census information with different men By the way she is my G.Grandmother. She married a William Johnson 1872 (he is a big mystery) and in the 1881 census she is living with a Issac James Porter as his wife (cant find a marriage) My Grandmothers birth is Hannah Jane Johnson and then she is found as Hannah Jane Porter. Thanks for your help. |

I googled it, and if I have read it right - the enumeration district is 'St Peter Cornhill'. Link was to ancestrycouk on the 1861 census. Liz |
