Hi Chris I'm very happy for you. I'm currently trying to discover which of my family members has all our family photos. After a year of research, last week I found an uncle of my mum's who has a family bible with dates and places of birth and everything! I was sooo exceited and I'm hoping to go and see him in the next few weeks to look at this bible, hopefully he will have photos as well! Sam x

lucky you I am waiting to hear from a new found relative who has photos and stuff I have never seen and I dont think you are odd at all getting excited I am exactly the same it makes them feel sort of real doesnt it ??? I often find myself with tears in my eyes because I realise what a hard life some of them led , and I wish I had done this years ago and visited them more.
