Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 305 Send Message	I think that this is usually only used if you connect to the internet from a network via another server (proxy server). If your computer is not on a network then proxy settings are not required. Derek

	Im not a whiz kid, but the settings are to do with your connection to the internet I believe. You should be able to find your connection details by clicking on Tools, connections, settings. (Though I have no idea what they are for!!).

	would some kind person please tell me what proxy settings are and what do they do and where do i find them..many thanks m.c.
