I see that the census's which I thought were complete are still being updated. How? What more is there to update if it says they are complete? Maybe they are adding or correcting missing/other entries Steve |

I have lost count of the number of corrective submissions I've made - and that's just for names (I can't get at comments-submissions for other data). Iin the days when this board was less strictly policed, there were threads about the amazing mistranscriptions on Ancestry and elsewhere (e.g. the 1901 site). Some are hilarious. Some could only be found by a searcher by accident, I think. In addition, I've recently had an e-advice that they've sorted out a dodgy (i.e. almost unreadable) image. I've had one or two of those: very dark, smudgy/blurry, or folded, obscuring the data you're after. Their task is by no means complete, although they've made a huge start. Christine |

They have been doing updates to all the censuses recently. Mainly corrections sent in by users I think. MB |

the whole of Breeon on the Hill,images, said error processing before, now all 43 images are loading, so i guess it is just sorting out the links, instead of the links not connecting they now do, its not that there is any more info. i think this is what these updates are. i have had mis transcriptions uploaded before this, so i dont think this is what they are doing |
