Colette - you got a very pure family - with many of searches I have done you start looking for births one month prior to the marriage date NOT nine months later.

It might be worth keeping an eye on http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk There's only one transcribed HARE birth in the range 1935-1950 at the moment, but they don't seem to have done Leigh yet. It was last updated 13 June 2005 - so they're obviously busy. Christine

Thanks Colette I will give that a go. I dont know when they got married but i will take a guess at 1937+. This has been so difficult for me as my parents divorced and I didnt have any contact with my father or his family. Have a good evening. Angie

Hi Angela you will need to find their marriage first do you have any idea when this was. 1837.com this is a payable web site £5 for 55 credits if you have their marriage date you can start looking nine months from that date for their first childs birth as it will have the mothers maiden name and the area be it Leigh or near by. Hope this makes sense... Regards Colette xxx

How can I find out if Albert Hare 1917 and Gladys Nock 1919 had any children or not? They lived in the Leigh, Lancashire area I think.
