Have they still not sorted that site!!! It is so good when it works. Send them an email having a moan, they may give you some free units like they did me. |

Thanks everyone. Have already complained with no reply, will contact them again and really have a moan. I prefer searching 1866-1920 on Family Relatives, saves a lot of trawling. |

Yes, Ive said many times the 1866-1920 is absolutely brilliant and easy to check on there and much cheaper than 1837online. They are about to launch 1837-1865 I believe and it would be a real boon to everyone like me who hates trawling 1837online. BUT they have to get the site probs sorted. Yes, do write to them saying what a great facility it would be but unfortunately many people cant use it because of the problems with their site. |

I haven't tried it lately, but did have a huge amount of problems when it first started, mainly with the site timing out as soon as I started to search. I did e-mail them but the reply was so technical that I couldn't follow it!! In the end I had to re-register. It is about time that they got the site sorted out because it is so good when it works. 1837-1865 would be brilliant. |

I managed to get my free extra credits yesterday! There is a notice actually on the home page of 1837 saying they are doing essential maintainance on the site, so maybe that's causing most of the problems. I have had more trouble with family relatives site than 1837, I guess it just depends what day you go! Is it me.......or has the text on the GR reply messages suddenly got bigger? Ann |
