I have just bought Particular baptist register births for Saxlingham Thorpe Norfolk 1793-1837.Got very exsited to find my gt gt gt grandfather and mothers children but not my gt gt grandfather as he was born 1814 and the first recorded is 1824.Think the chapel was only founded in 1818 so that is why Humphrey is not in it.What I would like to ask is,it says the books are kept at Public records office London. Is this Kew?What I would like to know if they have death records for the chapel. As I can not find Solomon,s death. Any one would like any birth from the booket let me know. there are people from places around Saxlingham Thorpe in the records. Daphne

Yes Public Records Office refers to Kew, their online index will tell you what they hold http://www.catalogue.nationalarchives.gov.uk There only seems to be a reference to baptism registers on the index. Could it be that the particular baptist church didn't have it's own graveyard and your ancestor's burial took place in the parish church or the chapel of the cemetary?
