Martin On 1871 It says Whitchurch shropshire..... On 1881 it says Chinnell Shropshire On 1891 none of the kids are at home so I dont know. Lesley :~) |

Have you compared with other censuses? Place of birth sometimes varies from year to year but often a different census year with identify the place of birth. MB |

Thanxs Ann Yes I looked on map site and found Chinnel Farm, I thought it could be a possiblilty. Will try all names...Shifnel...Channel....Chinnell Farm.. In my searches. Thanxs Lesley :~) |

It also occured to me that this might be a mistake for Shifnal, which is just east of Telford, Shrops? nell |

Lesley I looked on www streetmap uk co as I am hopeless at geography. It came up with a map with a big arrow pointing to Chinnel Farm, which is north of Whitchurch in Shropshire. nell |

Hi Cn anyone find where CHINNEL is I have 1881 census and all the children where born in CHINNEL SHROPSHIRE but I cant find it.. I have looked on map site and still no luck. Thanxs lesley :~) |
