If you forget to untick the box, and don't want someone you've contacted to see your tree: - Click on Messages. - Click on Your Contacts - Next to their name, under the Your Tree heading, click remove. It's a bit confusing, but if it says 'allow' next to their name, they cannot view your tree, and you have to click allow to let them. If it says remove, they can view your tree, and you have to click remove to stop them. I agree that you should have to tick the box, not untick it, but at least there is a way of removing permission, if you accidently give it. |

I agree, removing tree permissions appears to be the wrong way round - if it says allow it means they can't see it, if it says remove then they can! Surely there must be a better way of wording it? |

The tabs are instructions. Imagine the words 'PRESS TO...' in front. Press to Allow, to let them see your tree Press to Remove, to stop from seeing your tree |
