Hi Vikki and Don Thankyou for both of your help, I took the information you both gave to me and tweaked a few buttons here and there, and Hey Presto I now have my tree back up on this site. Thanks so much to the both of you after more than 6 months of fustration and pulling my hair out, I can now get back to the serious side of searching for my rellies. Hi Amanda. Open a word processing program such as Microsoft word or Wordpad or Notepad, select open, then all files and browse to your gedcom file to open it. Count down from the top line to line 13 and come back and tell me what it says. Best wishes Ron www.genealogyprinters(.)com

I have Family Tree Maker 2005 and would like to import my tree on to the Genes site. I used to have my tree on PAF and had no trouble importing this to Genes. I have deleted my tree so that I am the only one on Genes, but every time I try to upload my tree from FTM, I keep getting error on line 13. Does anyone know what this might mean, I am getting so fustrated. I have not been able to have my info on this site now for at least 6 months. I gave up trying to update my info, but now I'm still at the drawing board............Help Pls..................Amanda Povey...
