If there is any way to find out how I am related to someone in my tree who married in, on PAF it just says there is no blood relations, well I don't care that they aren't blood related I'd like to know how they are related (even if it is great aunts son-in laws brothers sister-in law). AL

Well what is your relationship to the person on the tree - how are you related to the person they married? nell

Well that's the problem, I don't know I can't figure it out, I know our common ancestor is my Gx? aunt but I went down her line quite a way adding wifes and husbands and their families, he seems to be the brother of one of my G aunts ancestors husbands, I even got GenoPro to try and figure it out but it's just a big mess of lines. Get a scrap piece of paper and draw a tree. Work out how YOU are related. If its through an aunt it will be a gt gt gt whatever times aunt/niece or uncle/nephew relationship. nell
