Jeanie, i have only been on the lancashire one but i imagine they are all the same. Find by location,..(lancashire) click on directories,I wanted Gores directories of liverpool & b/head,street directories 1900s (it says directory and fact file next to it)click on directories, this opens up the page starting with the index of the book, if you have time you can go page by page but i found this so slow, click on browse and you will get a box with numbers in go high first like 300 and see what letter the streets are up to then just go higher or lower according to what page you are after, If you find an easier way of doing it let me know, ,GOOD LUCK! moe |

Thanks for the tip Maureen. By the way do you know what R.S.O., or sometimes S.O., means after an entry please? Onwards and backwards! Cheers, Stephen |
