Help Please = lost Sidney

Sidney Albert Down married Elizabeth Adams OR Rebecca Coles, Barnstaple, Mar qtr, 1900. I thought I check which one on the 1901 census. Can't find him, or them anywhere. Sidney was born in 1879, Atherington, Devon. Had moved to Essex, by 1916. Has anyone got sharper eyes than me? I'd appreciate any help, don't know where to look next. Does anyone else find it easier to find relatives pre 1900 than after 1900? Or is it just me? Thanks, Penny.

Hi, Just had a quick look using the info. you had. I can't see him either. Just off to work now, I am sure by the time I get back someone will have found them for you, probably a mistranscription. Good Luck Linda

Hi Penny,, It may have been mistranscrbied in 1901 census,,ie wrong birth place,, What was Sidneys job when he got married??if he still got same in 1901 that may identify him>> kay

Thank you all - Matt, how did you find them, I would never have thought of looking for Dorun, what am I missing here, is there another way to search? By the way it certainly looks like them, thanks. Penny
