I have discovered that I'm a direct descendant of the minister who helped found the United Church in Bere Alston. The current church has a website, so I emailed them twice - no reply - and then wrote to the minister whose address was on the website - still no reply. Last week I emailed the Superintendent Minister for the area - still no reply! I do understand that they are busy people and might not look at their emails regularly, but I really would like to have copies of the photograph of my 2xGgrandfather that's on the website, and any other documents they might hold. Is there anyone who knows the area and/or the church? Huge thanks! Mandy :)
