Your welcome, we all suffer from trying to run before walking, I sent of for 2 certs last week got them yesterday and promptly sent off for another 3 yesterday, it can work out an expensive hobby, so if in doubt like you are wait until you get one before ordrering another. Bev |

Thank you both for your advice.... Im guess im just impatient.. its so frustrating as the marriage is the only one within the area for the correct time period that comes up .... i guess i need to learn to be more patient, after all they are not going anywhere.. :-)) Thanks for your advice Tracey |

If you ask them to cross ref then it will cost more, I also would get the birth cert 1st then check the names before ordering the marriage cert. Bev |

I think i would order the birth cert first, find out her maiden name, then check against the marriage ref. less chance of error i would have thought jess |

Im about to order a birth certificate and am quite certain this is the right person. I have his fathers name already but only his mothers forename, hence i am ordering to obtain his mothers maiden name.... but: I think i have found his parents marriage as well. The place and date appear about right along with the names (except mothers maiden name as i dont know it) , can i order both the sons birth certificate and his parents possible marriage certificate at the same time and request they check the mothers maiden name from the birth certificate and cross match this with the marriage.... for them only to send if it shows the same name??? SORRY bit round the houses with explaining.. i hope you get the gist! Tracey |
