Not really a TIP so hopefully no-one will object to this being on this board but wanted to share.....

Late last night I emailed Brent Council to enquire about burial records for the former Paddington Cemetery. The gentleman emailed me back first thing this morning to say that he had searched almost 30 years of records and had found one of my BIBB family buried there, then provided me with the date and her plot number. As I had the date of death for the original person I was enquiring about (in 1858!), he went out of his way to look for anyone with the same surname who might be buried there. He even gave me the email address of someone at Westminster who may be able to help with records for the cemeteries there. So well done to Brent Council for excellent service! Lou

Lucky you! And I bet they are all busy with election stuff today as well which makes you doubly lucky. I hope you are basking in the warm glow of your success. Louise
