A fresh pair of eyes please

I know I have asked this before and I have got dizzy searching Ancestry, but I am stuck on this woman. 1901 census Eliza Marsden 25 born Matlock Derbyshire living Stockport James H Marsden 25 born Stockport, living Stockport Two children. Eliza Davies and James Marsden were married 1896 Stockport. I thought at first that it was Eliza M Davies 1881 census living at Hamilton Villas Werburgh Derbyshire, but I don't think its her now. But I am struggling going over the same stuff and obviously missing something, a fresh pair of eyes please. Thanks for any help and if I don't reply straight away its cos I have had to do the dogs and horses!!! Gloria |

Yes thats them, but I can't find anything on her before this apart from the marriage. I think I have found him earlier, its her thats doing my head in. What is it they say 'Men are from Mars, women from Venus'. I think she came out of a black hole. |

99.9% sure its Eliza Davies born Matlock,aged 25 in 1901 census. |

I'd go with this one.... Davies, Eliza M abt 1878 Derby, Derbyshire Stepdaughter St Peter Derbyshire Eliza M. Davis abt 1878 Derbyshire, England Daughter Bailey St 3 Hamilton Villas, Derby St Werburgh, Derbyshire, England But only because I can't find one born in Matlock. However, she doesn't have a middle name in 1901, so might not be her. I see your confusion. |

Tracy, we are leap frogging each other with this. I think it was Laird a while ago found me those and I thought I had cracked it but now I am not so sure, in fact I think I discounted them once. I will learn not to discount anything in this game. |

Got the birth for that one... Births Jun 1878 Davies Eliza May Derby 7b 517 She should be in the Bakewell district if she was born in Matlock, not Derby. |
