Is there a name index for London 1851 Census.

Does the London 1851 census have a name index. My gt.gt.grandmother was married in Islington, Middlesex in Sept 1851. Her name was Mary Ann Thurrell. On her marriage cert. it says father was Joseph. I need to find her on an 1851 census to know where she was born. Thanks for any help. Hilary. |

there is - but its only partial. From memory theres about 85K names ... Suggest you post on Records Office Board - title 1851 LONDON please.. with details as you have above. |

It certainly covers Marylebone, and I think Islington as well. Available on fiche, for purchase and at the FRC. |
