Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 0 Send Message	Have been checking IGI for anything that might add to my info and realised I have a marriage cert but never put down the marriage date on my records. I then realised that if they married in 1842 why do they have daughters born c1835 and c1836? On closer inspection of the marriage cert I realised the groom was a widower. Explains why the girls have his surname. Just not sure I can find his first wife - have two possibilities on freebmd but I don't know! So a word of advice - always read everything properly!!

	If he had married before the girls were born (ie pre-1835), you will not find the marriage on FreeBMD as registration did not begin until 1837.
